Set to open In December 2008, The Fish House will redefine culinary excellence across the south east, coupled with luxurious overnight accommodation amongst the rolling Sussex countryside.
When its doors open, it will signal the completion of a £4m project - an oasis of sumptuous dining, and self-indulgent relaxation, on the outskirts of Chichester, close to Goodwood.
The atmospheric bar area, with its low ceilings, Irish quarried marble top bar and 300 year old French fireplace is where guests first enter, with their eyes immediately drawn to a show stopping crustacean counter. Guinness and oysters can be enjoyed and the unique energy of The Fish House savoured in this ambient room that leads into the restaurant. In here guests will experience the finest in la carte dining or choose to have their senses infused by the 8 course tasting menu. Head chef Alan Gleeson brings with him a passion for sourcing and preparing the freshest seafood and the finest local produce.
Fifteen luxurious guest rooms have been bespoked around 4 different themes and each named after a famous fishing port. No corners have been cut in creating accommodation you just won't wish to leave. Six secluded hot tubs set in landscaped grounds, each with its own private thatched gazebo, complete with flat screen TV, iPod station and Champagne fridge - the ultimate in post dining luxury.
The large, landscaped grounds feature interconnecting Koi ponds and present outdoor seating for in excess of 120 covers, making The Fish House the ideal venue for private functions, weddings and parties.
To experience The Fish House is to dwell in a world of sumptuous dining and opulent relaxation, where the only difficult decision you'll have to make is how long you'll be able to stay.
