Sussex Brides concentrates solely on Sussex. We are not just a directory website who has added Sussex to our impartial list of counties. Sussex Brides is for the Sussex bride and groom and grew out of the frustration of trying to find companies providing wedding services like yours.
Why we are different.
At Sussex Brides we do not just simply add brief listings and then rely on sponsored or affiliate adverts for our revenue, and then forget about the rest of the site. We are only interested in promoting Sussex based wedding businesses and businesses that support Sussex brides and grooms. How and what we do.
We have a team of highly skilled and experienced staff, researching, supporting and developing the site, and gathering content specific to Sussex. We work closely with the companies listed, and are very attentive to their requests, updating their content mostly on a same day basis.

How do we attract visitors?
Because of our background we do the work that most businesses don't have the time or expertise to carry out. Our presence on the search engines is because we advertise with all the major search engines and continuously monitor what the visitor is looking for.

How many businesses do you list?
So as not to overwhelm the visitor and to give every business an opportunity to be seen, we are limiting the listings to a maximum of forty per category.

Can I list in more than one category?
Yes- if your business supplies related services covered then you will have a listing in each category, plus we do not charge for each category.

I don't have a website - can I still list?
As each listing is like a web page, it doesn't matter if you do not have a website. Just provide all your contact details and a description of what you do and we do the rest.

I have offers from time to time - can I promote them?
All you need to do is notify us of the offer and we will do the rest. This is provided free with the Premium and Advanced listings.

Can I be listed at the top?
Each listing in each category is in alphabetical and listing type order. We do not promote any one business in preference to another. The Premium listings are displayed first, then Advanced etc. The Premium listings are resticted to a maximum of five per category. To enhance your listing we accept reviews from your clients which will help your business stand out and will assist the visitor in making an informed choice.

Can I list on your other sites?
We also have a site covering Hampshire and will soon be adding Surrey. If your business covers either of these counties then we will happily add your details upon confirmation of the area covered. We will add your details at a discounted rate so please contact us. Premium listings are included as an Advanced listing on other sites if applicable.

Sussex Brides was launched at the beginning of August 2005 and has increased the number of visitors and page views since. The statistics we accumulate are from unique visitors and not, unlike many sites, garnered from all sources.
Not only do we see how were doing, we monitor the number of visits to your listing and to your own website.
