We strive to perfection but not at the expense of the clients. You wont be poked, prodded and made uncomfortable, just relaxed and yourself. Whether it’s in the studio, at your home, at location or at your wedding you’ll have a dedicated professional creating beautiful images of you.
For weddings we are a husband and wife team, so you will have two photographers included in the package. If you want some candid shots of the bride and bridesmaids getting ready then you can be relaxed with me while my husband is in the bar with the groom to be.
We try to have a relaxed and non intrusive approach to the day, the last thing you want is to be bossed around and posed for hours. Your wedding day is about you not our artistic mission.
I tend to shoot mostly digital while my husband loves grainy black and white, ahhh bless him, but we can tailor the look at feel of the photos to your taste. Our approach is to document the story of your day, capturing the atmosphere so you can relive it again and again.
The formal shots are important to most people as they give a continuity to the day, they are the ones your grandchildren will look at. However, most people these days want to mix in more informal shots of themselves and their guests in the moment. We always prearrange the formal shot list so no one is left out and we will order the shots to take up the minimum of your day.
Every wedding is different, so we like to make up a bespoke package to suit you. Here are a few of our standard packages to give you an idea of what we can do for you.

We chose Claire and Nick from Light Studio Ltd as the photographers for our wedding last September.We were absolutely delighted with the service they provided, and with the photographs they took.
In our first discussion with them, we said we wanted a record of the day as it happened, not a day directed by shots that the photographer wanted to get. Obviously there would have to be posed photographs, but we didn't want our guests waiting about for hours while we were arranged into uncomfortable positions for photographs.
We were delighted with the way Claire and Nick worked. They were friendly and relaxed, starting with the "before ceremony" shots, and Claire has become an important part of my memories of that day, even helping my daughters when they got muddled when lacing my dress! I wasn't aware of her taking any photographs, and was astonished when I saw the results of her work.... truly lovely!
Our album has turned out exactly as we imagined, a lovely mix of colour photos, and black and white candid shots of our guests. and exactly what we wanted, a true record of our lovely day.
We can't recommend Light Studio Ltd highly enough, and will certainly use them in the future for other special occasions.

The Light Studio did the photography for my Mum's wedding, they were fabulous and made us all feel so relaxed and the resulting photos were beautiful.
My fiance and I have booked them for our own wedding and are looking forward to the day with photographers we trust to help us create lovely pictures.
