The English Wine Centre and Walton's Oak Barn offer a unique venue for your special day.
Imagine - reception drinks and nibbles on the barn lawn, walking into our 17th century oak barn through the open double doors and through again into our beautiful fully lined marquee, decorated as simply, or extravagantly, as you wish.
A garden party atmosphere in our beautiful country venue for you, and your guests, to enjoy.
Freshly prepared food, using local producers and suppliers, ensures a great celebration. We make our own bread, we use free range eggs, we have a proper butcher and we encourage small, independent producers. All things which we believe matter giving a unique and fresh approach to your day. Our Wine Shop offers a wide range of English and World Wines, including vegan and vegetarian wines, and the house bubbly is fantastic – and English!
And, of course, you can also be married here in the quirky setting of the Museum. A former chicken shed (back when God was a boy!), it is now an intimately lit room, with timber framed mirrors, oak candelabra and a hand worked embroidery hanging. After the ceremony, double doors open onto the barn lawn where our staff await you, if required, with chilled bubbly and home made canapés.
In short – a unique venue, a special venue – and it’s yours for the whole day.
